Heaven is the only safe place for treasure.

“‘Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal’” (Matthew 6:19).
Nothing you own is completely safe from destruction or theft. And even if you keep your possessions perfectly secure during your entire life, you are certainly separated from them at death. That’s why Jesus said you should lay up treasures in Heaven “where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal” (v. 20). What about you? Are you putting your treasure in a safe place?

Love is difficult to define, but it can be described by the behavior it produces.

"Love is patient, but you are impatient. Love is kind, but you are unkind toward those who disagree with you. Love is not jealous, but you envy those with certain spiritual gifts. Love does not brag, but you are proud of your theology. Love is not arrogant and does not act unbecomingly, but often you are rude and ill-mannered toward one another.
"Love does not seek its own, but you are self-centered. Love is not provoked, but you quarrel among yourselves. Love does not take into account a wrong suffered, but you hold grudges against each other. Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but you delight in one another's failures. Love rejoices with the truth, but you distort and disobey God's Word.
"Love bears all things, but you are defensive and resentful. Love is eager to believe the best about someone, but you are quick to assume the worst. Love never gives up and can tolerate incredible opposition, but you are weak and intolerant."

Wealth comes from God, and we are to manage it wisely for Him with LOVE

You are right to provide for your family, make reasonable plans for the future, make sound investments, have money to carry on a business, give to the poor, and support the Lord’s work. But you are wrong if you are dishonest, greedy, covetous, stingy, and miserly about possessions. To honestly earn, save, and give is wise; to hoard and spend only on yourself is unwise and sinful.

Love is characterized by self-sacrifice, but not all self-sacrifice is an act of love.

"Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven" (Matt. 6:1). If your motive for giving is to gain the approval of men, their accolades will be your only reward. If you're motivated by love for God, He will reward you abundantly (vv. 2-4).
When you give to the Lord, what is your motive? Do you want others to think more highly of you? Do you feel obligated? Those are subtle influences, so be sure to guard your motives carefully. Remember, the only acceptable motive is love.

I will never leave you nor forsake you

"I will never leave you nor forsake you"

Words that you will always hear from people who loves you, who cares for you. Its a very sweet promise that makes you believe and makes you feel comfortable and hopeful. Many people use this words to court someone. To comfort or encourage someone. This is a good and heart comforting words but also a heart-breaking one. Why?

I will never leave you nor forsake. A words I know only one person can do, God, JESUS. Why is it heart-breaking? Cause many people use this words to give you false hope. They knew they can only do this words temporarily not for eternity. There might be someone who will do this in the long run but not consistent. That is why people are in pain or hurt when someone told this words to her or him but not really consistently doing this. Its heart-breaking.

When someone told you words like this. We should always remember that only God can do this for eternity and consistently. People are not perfect they always fail in doing this. Do not trust fully to person or people. Trust God above all.

Dreaming to be an Honorable Soldier

I never dream to be a soldier but after I watched series Korean movie "Descendants of the Sun" I'm amaze of the life of being a Honorable soldier. A life where you must follow orders from the Higher ranking officer because the higher ups decision is always right. No matter what happens even if it hurts or conflicts to your own decision you need to obey. A kind of attitude where I you must stand firm and follow the order of the most High even if your life is at stake. An Honorable soldier who will accept any kind of punishments when fails to do the command or the right action. A soldier who will risk His life for the good of his fellow countrymen. A soldiers that conflicts his own emotion of love and forgiveness. A soldier that will die honorably.

I'm just a common person who lives in this earth who is weak and always depends to every people that surrounds me. Despite of that I'm still longing and dreaming and will do and always try my best to live a life that is Honorable and Amazing like ones as a Soldier.

My Devotion: Following Hard after the King and Lord GOD

My soul followeth hard after thee:thy right hand upholdeth me.-Psa. 63:8

As i read the book the Pursuit of God by A.W Tozer I'm amazed again by God greatness, surely He knew all things and preordained/predestined everything. Pursuit of God is not easy, for the world is against us. We should always expect those who will persecute us, expect mountain of problems and flood of obstacles.

"My soul followeth hard after thee" - one of the holistic desire of every saint. He knew following Christ would be hard but still continue for the glory of his King and Lord. Despite of the temptation, condemnation and everything still like Davids psalms he trust his King for he knew that "thy right hand upholdeth me". He knew that God will never leave him nor forsake him. He knew how powerful and awesome his God is. He knew that Jesus saves and helps.

My prayer this moment would be: "God my awesome God, Please help me to desire you more and to be strong in following you hard. For all things belongs to you my Great God. Thank you for not leaving me nor forsaking me. Forgive me if i have sin. This I pray in His Name Jesus Christ. Amen.
